If you have lost or damaged items in your dinner services, we are here to help.Even if we don't have the item in stock, we can search our database of items for sale and try and source your match. We're leading stockists of discontinued tableware, operating from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. Solving tableware problems since 1988, we have a friendly team of staff waiting to help, and fast, reliable service.
If you find an item you're interested in at our store we're always more than willing to email a photograph. We also have many items in stock which are not listed at our store. Please enquire about any item, and if we have it in stock we will happily email you a photograph of any in-stock item you may be interested in.

Why should I use Platemates?
We have over 20 years experience buying and selling discontinued china. Manufacturers Denby, Royal Doulton and Wedgwood, and major retailers such as John Lewis, Lawley's and Selfridges recommend us. We've had customers world wide, from Sudan to the Falkland Is, Australia to Nigeria. Our goods are of excellent quality and are competitively priced.
How do I place an order?
Either go to our store - click here - or fill in the request form above, and let us know what item, pattern and manufacturer you are looking for. Payment can be made by credit card by ringing 01423 770 368 or through paypal.
What does L/S and S/S mean?
L/S means large size S/S means small size sec means second scr means saucer b & b means bread and butter cov'd means covered ie item has a lid
How are the goods delivered?
Goods are delivered by Courier or Parcelforce in the UK and its partners worldwide. The post and packing charges include insurance for breakage, loss and damage. Customers may also collect from Platemates - just let us know when you'd like to call.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Problems are rare when ordering from Platemates but if you're not satisfied simply ring and tell us and we will put things right.
I want to sell my stock - how does Platemates arrange collection and payment?
If we agree to buy your stock you can either deliver it yourself or, for a slightly reduced amount, we can arrange collection. If collection is arranged we will pay one third of the agreed amount as a deposit. You will pack the goods (we will give advice on the best way to do this) ready for collection by a national carrier company. As soon as they have been received and checked by Platemates you will receive the balance of the money.
